Police are appealing to the public after a five-year-old girl was killed in a road traffic collision on the outskirts of Shepherd's Bush.

They were called at 4.35pm on Monday 8th June to the junction of Trinity Way and Bromyard Avenue in Acton.

The incident happened just outside the King Fahad Academy when a BMW three series was in collision with the child.

The five-year-old was taken to St Mary's hospital, but sadly died later from her injuries.

Traffic officers are appealing to people in the area at the time to come forward and help investigators piece together what caused this tragic death.
