The victim was walking along the A40, near the Hemlock Road junction, at 3.10pm on Saturday when a black male approached him on his bicycle.

He demanded he hand over some of his property before stabbing him in the back and cycling away.

Ambulance crews took the victim to a west London hospital where his injuries are described by police as "non life-threatening".

The attacker is described as black, aged between 17 and 20, of medium build and wearing a grey jacket, dark trousers and a grey hooded top.

He had black stubble and spoke with an English accent.
