British Transport Police are hunting a man who exposed himself on a central Line train between Tottenham Court Road and East Acton in June.

Around 7pm on Sunday 5 June a 32 year old woman joined a Central Line tube from Tottenham Court Road.

When she sat down, a man who was sitting near began staring at the victim. Shortly after, he then exposed himself and continued to touch himself during the journey. He then left the Tube at East Acton.

Indecent Exposure

British Transport Police are releasing images of a man that might be able to help detectives in their enquiries.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Andrew Parkinson, said: “This was an extremely disturbing experience for this woman and we are working hard to track the man responsible.

“I believe the man in the images has information about this incident. Who is he?”

DC Parkinson added: “We will never tolerate sexual offences on the Tube network and I would encourage victims and witnesses of crime to always come forward and report them to us.”

Anyone who has any information is urged to contact British Transport Police by text on 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 184 of 19/08/2016. Alternatively, you can anonymously contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
