A man has been arrested in Ravenscourt Park on suspicion of robbery, indecent assault and possession of a knife after a number of incidents in the Hammersmith area.

The 33-year-old was detained on Tuesday morning (17 January) at around 7.50am.

Police had been called to a number of locations in Hammersmith, W6 following reports that five women had been approached by a male with a knife in the area.

The man currently remains in custody at a west London police station and enquiries continue.
