Firefighters were called to a house fire in Pennard Road in the centre of Shepherd's Bush at lunchtime on Wednesday April 10.

Four fire engines from Hammersmith, Chiswick, and Kensington fire stations arrived at the scene at around 12.55pm.

The Fire Brigade says that the crews worked hard for half an hour to fight the blaze before bringing it under control at around 1.26pm.

Part of the house's roof was damaged, but no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
