Man Rescued From Shepherd's Bush Flat Fire Dies
Blaze on Monday on Coningham Road proves fatal
A man rescued from a fire in Shepherd's Bush on Monday has died in hospital.
He passed away yesterday after being taken from a house converted into flats on Coningham Road.
The man was rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus from a flat on the second floor and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
Part of the second floor flat was damaged by fire.
Fire crews from Hammersmith fire station were at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 4.19pm and the fire was under control less than half an hour later.
