All welcome in Bassein Park Road today and tomorrow
Kite Studios in Bassein Park Road off Askew Road are throwing open their doors for their 9th winter fair this evening, Friday December 4 from 7pm till 10pm and tomorrow, Saturday December 5 from 11am till 3pm.
The fair has become a popular local event with around 20 stalls in, selling a mix of products from prints to gifts, jewellery to ceramics and glassware to children's items and serving wine and hot chocolate to keep visitors warm and comfortable.
The Fair is a charity fundraiser – stallholders pay a £30 booking fee for the table and wall space plus 10% of sales above that level to the charities involved.
This year the organisations being supported are:
Unique helps families affected by physical and learning disabilities and/or serious medical conditions caused by rare chromosome disorders. Unique researches and publishes information on the consequences of individual chromosome disorders and connects families throughout the world.
West London Action for Children
West London Action for Children offers counselling and therapy services for children in need, and their families, in Hammersmith, Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea.
WLAC supports families under stress to develop their confidence and skills to cope with the challenges of family life and to achieve positive changes in their lives.
Kite Art Sponsorship Fund
Kite Art CIC Sponsorship Fund enables talented children and young people to attend workshops and courses at Kite Studios, no matter what their background. It also funds projects to support family learning in schools. To find out more about classes and events for adults and children see
