Check your pockets or down the back of your sofa to find out if you have just made £1 million.

That's the advice from the National Lottery, who are hunting for a secret millionaire living somewhere in Hammersmith and Fulham.

The holder, who has not yet claimed his or her prize, won the weekly £1 million EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle on Friday, August 6.

For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle selection printed on their ticket.

The winning selection on August 6 was FVJ384492 and the lucky ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on Wednesday, February 2 2011 to make their claim.

If no one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline, the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the Good Causes fund.

A National Lottery spokesperson says: "We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

"Being able to guarantee a UK millionaire every week with Millionaire Raffle is fantastic and we’re urging everyone to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.

"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."

To jog Lotto players’ memories, All Time Low by The Wanted topped the UK singles chart on 6 August, while Eminem was at the top of the album chart with Recovery.

This is the second time in six months that the Lottery has had to search for a million pound winner in our borough. In March it send out a similar appeal to find a jackpot winner whose ticket matched all six numbers.

On that occasion the ticket holder came forward within days - though the lucky winner chose to keep their identity secret.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180 day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
