Meanza, previously known as Michael Condon was a resident at the hostel and suffers from schizophrenia.

Police say a murder investigation was launched after police were called at 6.40am to the property to a report that a woman in her thirties had been injured. After their arrival paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
