On Friday May 24 colleagues from the Stroke Association will be visiting Hammersmith Library from 10am - 12 noon and Shepherd's Bush Library from 2pm - 4pm and set up stalls where they will offer blood pressure checks along with giving out information about Stroke Awareness Month.

Why does blood pressure matter?

  • It’s estimated that up to 40 per cent of strokes could be prevented if undetected high blood pressure was diagnosed and treated.
