Would you like appear in a new community play set in Hammersmith and the 1950s?

Theatre director and playwright Rosalind Scanlon is leading a series drama workshops which will create a new community play called Act Your Age.

Act Your Age is about women who were nicknamed The Sugar Girls, who worked in Hammersmith's Sugar Factory in the 1950s?

These drama workshops are normally open to all women aged 50plus but Rosalind says for this community project younger women are also welcome to join in.

The workshops take place every Tuesday afternoon from 1.30pm – 3.30pm at at The Macbeth Centre, Macbeth St Hammersmith W6 9JJ.


The cost for each term is £30/£19 concessions.
