Holy Innocents Church in Paddenswick Road is hosting a series of spring and summer concerts beginning this Sunday, April 27, at 4pm.

Here's what's to come from now until June:

SUNDAY 27th APRIL – 4pm
VIOLIN and PIANO RECITAL
Jane Faulkner (Violin) and Gary Peacock (Piano)
Programme to include works by Beethoven, Schumann, Stravinsky and Grenados
The Faulkner/Peacock duo have been working together now for over five years and have been regular performers at Holy Innocents.
Tickets on the Door: £10 (£8 Concessions)

SATURDAY 3rd MAY – 7.30pm
OPERA’S GREATEST ARIAS – an evening in support of the Syrian Refugee Crisis
A Group of Talented Singers will perform well known arias and ensembles by Mozart, Puccini, Donizetti and Verdi
Tickets on the Door: £10 (Students/ Concessions £5) (Proceeds to go to Christian Aid) Interval refreshments available

SUNDAY 4th May – 6pm
WEST 6 SERIES – Bridge String Quartet
English Phantasy Quartets by Holst, Holbrooke and Goossens, plus a Quintet by Dvorak (with Henrietta Hill)

SUNDAY SESSION 11th MAY – 4pm
PART OF THE HAYDN PIANO SONATA SERIES
Stephen Meakins IN CONCERT
Stephen Meakins is one of the UK’s busiest young pianists performing in major concert venues as both soloist and accompanist. Including recently at St Martin’s in the Fields, St George’s, Bristol, Dartington Hall and the Wigmore Hall.

SUNDAY SESSION 18th May – 4pm
Sounds of Love
Johanna Young (Soprano), Martin Pacey (Piano)
Take a journey through the sounds of Puccini, Verdi, Britten and Gershwin to hear how each composer expresses the sounds of love.

SATURDAY 14th June – 7.30pm
OPERA INTEGRA IN CONCERT
Featuring opera scenes from favourite composers.

SUNDAY SESSION 22nd June – 4pm
CLARIPHONICS CLARINET QUARTET
