Men and women who gave their lives in two world wars and other conflicts around the world will be honoured during two Remembrance Sunday events on November 9.

The Mayor, Cllr Mercy Umeh, will join the march to the Shepherds Bush War Memorial, while the Deputy Mayor, Cllr Ali Hashem, will attend a service at the Fulham War Memorial.

Cllr Umeh says: "We must never forget the sacrifices of the men and women, who gave their lives for our freedom, in the two world wars and the many other conflicts across the world."

The full details of the parades and services are as follows:

Fulham parade and service

The procession will gather in Parsons Green Lane at 10.20am and march via New Kings Road to the Fulham War Memorial, in Vicarage Garden, next to All Saints' Church. The open air Service at Fulham War Memorial will be the responsibility of the Reverend Joseph Hawes, Vicar of All Saints' Church, Fulham.

At the end of the service, the parade will march back to the Territorial Army Centre, and HQ of the Royal Yeomanry at Fulham House, 87 Fulham High Street.

Shepherds Bush parade and service

The procession will gather in Sulgrave Road (off Shepherds Bush Road) at 10.15am and march to Shepherds Bush Green War Memorial. The open air service at the memorial will be conducted by Father Richard Nesbitt, Parish Priest, Our Lady of Fatima, White City.

At the end of the service, there will be a march past in Shepherds Bush Road at which the Mayor will take the salute and the parade will finish in Westwick Gardens.
