|Westfield Hosts Orchestra Playing in Aid of War Child|
80 strong Kensington Symphony Orchestra will entertain shoppers today
A group of 80 musicians will descend on Westfield London’s Atrium today, Sunday February 10 to help raise funds for War Child, a charity aimed at protecting children in war zones across the world.
The musicians, from top amateur group, The Kensington Symphony Orchestra, will play for six full hours, entertaining shoppers with pieces based around the theme of Love and… including well known compositions from Romeo and Juliet, My Fair Lady, Sleeping Beauty and The Paradise.
Myf Ryan, General Manager, Marketing at Westfield says: " We are so excited to have the Kensington Symphony Orchestra here to perform at The Atrium, it will be a great experience for us and our shoppers."
Music fans will also have a once-in-a-lifetime experience to conduct the full-sized symphony orchestra, an unmissable experience for any classical music fan, by making a donation to War Child here.
