Hear a talk inspired by Latymerian's latest book Around the World in 80 Trees
Author, environmentalist and Latymerian Jonathan Drori CBE is coming to his old School, Latymer Upper in Hammersmith's King Street on Wednesday 3 October to give a talk inspired by his latest book Around the World in 80 Trees.

Jon Drori is a Trustee of The Eden Project, an Ambassador for the WWF and was for nine years a Trustee of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and The Woodland Trust. He is a Fellow of the Linnean Society and the Zoological Society of London, and a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
He is a former Head of Commissioning for BBC Online and Executive Producer of more than fifty primetime BBC TV series on science and technology. In 2006 he was awarded a CBE.
In 2018 Jon's book Around the World in 80 Trees quickly became a hit. He shows how plant science is intertwined with the roles that trees play in every part of human life, from the romantic to the profitable, to the regrettable. 80 Trees has been described as 'one of the most quietly beautiful books of the year'.
The event, in the Edward Theatre, Latymer Upper School, 237 King Street is from 7pm - 9pm on Wednesday. Tickets cost £15 and include refreshments. For more information and tickets click here.
