A day later on Thursday 7 December, from 5.30pm till 7.30pm, Shepherds Bush Library, on Wood Lane at the back of Westfield will host a talk by Nawang N. Anjatsang.

Tibetan exile Nawang made an acclaimed documentary called Little Tibet a journey about love, loss, and belonging. In the film, he travelled to Ladakh, in the northern most part of India, which borders Tibet and shares much of its culture, language and landscape. Here, in this remote, high altitude land, Sonam found the beauty of his culture both preserved and living, though he could not cross the tantalisingly close border to Tibet itself.

Local people are invited to join a celebration of Tibetan culture, history, and the works of Sonam.

Refreshments will be provided. Book your free place at this event via Eventbrite.
