The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Back on Friday
Macmillan's fundraising events hosted at locations across borough
The World's Biggest Coffee Morning, Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest fundraising event is back on Friday September 30.
The charity asks people across the UK - and sometimes further afield - to hold a coffee morning, with donations on the day being made to Macmillan.
Last year alone, this nationwide event raised an amazing £25 million, and this year, Macmillan says it want to raise even more money to help change the lives of people affected by cancer.
In Hammersmith and Fulham events are happening at a number of venues, including:
The Crabtree, 4 Rainville Road, Hammersmith, from 9am
Do you want to meet for a coffee? Is otherwise known as the International code for ‘let’s get together and catch-up, have fun or reminisce’. Since 1990, Macmillan Cancer Support have been organising a coffee morning to raise funds for the charity. Stop by the pub and hear ‘Macmillan Survivor Stories’ by people who have lived through it. We’ll donate cakes, tea, coffee and raffle prizes to the cause.
Charing Cross Hospital Fracture Clinic, St Dunstans Road, from 9am
In remembrance of Becky Mcinerney and all others who have been affected by cancer. Hosted by Donna Rodden, all are welcome.
Restaurant Terrace, Dorsett Shepherd's Bush, 58 Shepherd's Bush Green - from 10am
Join us at Dorsett Shepherds Bush for coffee and cakes on the terrace on Friday 30th September! Donate £5 to enjoy a Coffee and Cake with all proceeds going toward Macmillan Cancer Support. Simply donate £5 by texting ‘BUN 2AQQ’ to 70550, show your waiter and indulge!
One in three of us will face cancer, and the money raised will help us make sure no one has to face it alone. So come on down for the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious for a great cause, because cakes taste better together.
