There is severe traffic congestion this morning in West Lodnon (10 February) after a lorry got stuck on Shepherd’s Bush Green.
The exceptionally long vehicle which was transporting another large construction vehicle appears to have been attempting to make a turn on the Uxbridge Road outside Westfield but then blocked all the carriage ways on the road.
The A4020 Uxbridge Road is currently shut at Shepherd’s Bush and there are long delays at the Holland Park roundabout. Diversions are in operation affecting ten bus routes.
At 10.45am, TFL Traffic News tweeted this update @TfLTrafficNews: " A402 Uxbridge Rd / Shepherd's Bush Place. Traffic remains heavilly congested in the area. Avoid if possible. "
And in answer to a query about the road reopening:
"
Recovery is on scene but I'm afraid I have no expected time for completion just yet. I'll let you know as soon as I do."
TfL Bus Alerts tweeted at @TfLBusAlerts: " Buses serving the Hammersmith, Kensington & Holland Park areas delayed over 60mins due to the traffic incident at Shepherds Bush."
