Local Council Election results expected early on Friday morning

This is the busy scene at Hammersmith Town Hall, with counting underway after polls closed tonight, 3 May at 10pm.

Residents have been voting today in the Local Council Election for a total of 46 councillors across the borough's 16 wards.

In the previous election in May 2014, Labour won 26 seats in the borough while Conservatives won 20, on a turnout of 38%.

The results of this election are expected early on Friday morning, and we will bring them to you as soon as they are announced.
