Join a Web Chat on Lung Cancer

Hosted by respiratory consultant on June 27

Are you an ex-smoker and want to know more about how giving up has helped your lungs?

Maybe you have a cough and want to know more about what you should do?

Do you know anyone with lung cancer and want to know more about the condition?

As you will know if you have seen those rather scary TV ads, this is lung cancer awareness season and the Be Clear on Cancer campaign is aiming to increase awareness of the symptoms to help get earlier diagnoses for patients.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, which includes Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals, are hosting a web chat all about lung cancer with lead respiratory medicine consultant, Dr Sarah Elkin, on Wednesday 27 June at 1.15pm-2.15pm.

This is your chance to chat to an expert live online and ask everything you’ve ever wanted to know about lung cancer.

To join the web chat on Wednesday, go to the Web Chat Index, where you can also replay precious chats on a variety of health issues.

For more information about the Be Clear on Cancer campaign, go to the NHS Choices Be Clear on Cancer website.
