Two Charged after Flying Squad Swoop on Shepherd's Bush Green
Robbers caught redhanded coming out of HSBC with stolen cash
Police say two men of no fixed abode, Jason Byrne, 44 and Paul Wiltshire, 46 years have both been charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and firearms offences.
They were arrested on Wednesday October 8 by officers from the Met's Flying Squad following an armed robbery on Shepherd's Bush Green.
At 4pm, the two men entered the HSBC Bank on the south side of Shepherd's Bush Green, threatened members of staff with weapons and demanded they hand over cash. A rucksack was filled with approximately £4000 and the men left the bank.

Flying Squad officers supported by armed police were waiting. The stopped and arrested the men who were taken to a west London police station.
DI Scott Hartley, of the Flying Squad said: "These two men were brazen enough to attempt to hold up a bank in broad daylight in a busy London street. I pay tribute to all the officers who carried out this intelligence-led operation which has resulted in two arrests."
