Man Stabbed at Westfield on Friday Afternoon
Two men arrested after victim suffers non- life threatening injuries
A man has been stabbed in Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd's Bush at around 2pm on Friday August 5.
Police say officers attended the incident along with London Ambulance Service and discovered a man in his 20s, suffering from stab injuries.
Onlookers say the incident happened on the crowded ground floor of the centre, where an area has been cordoned off, as shown in this picture taken from a store above the scene.
The man has been taken to hospital, and police say an initial assessment indicated that his injuries are not life threatening.
Two men have been arrested in connection with this investigation, though no further details on them are available as yet.
Officers from Hammersmith and Fulham are investigating and say enquiries continue.
