After men try to steal phones from boys aged 14 and 15 in Ellerslie Road
White City's Bloemfontein Road was closed and buses diverted on Wednesday night, 23 October after the attempted robbery of two boys aged 14 and 15.
The incident took place in Ellerslie Road, close to QPR's Stadium around 7.30pm when a group of men tried to steal the boys' phones, but fortunately nothing was actually taken and the young victims were unharmed.
Following the attempted crime, bus route 283 was diverted in both directions via Wood Lane and missing out stops towards Hammersmith between White City and Shepherd's Bush Market Station, and towards East Acton between Shepherds Bush Market and Mandela Close.
A Met spokesperson says: "Police were called at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, 23 October to reports of a robbery on Ellerslie Road, Hammersmith and Fulham.
"Two boys, aged 14 and 15, were approached by a number of males who told them to hand over their phones. No items were taken. No injuries."
