The farm comes to the city in Starch Green
Together with Hammersmith Community Gardens Association the Askew Business Association have already organised three very successful Edible Askew May Madness events on Starch Green and along Askew Road.
This year Starch Green will be transformed into a farm for the day thanks to Stepney City Farm. There will be lots of other activities to enjoy including scarecrow making and face painting.
In addition summer bedding plants will be available, there will be stalls full of yummy cakes and local produce as well as the traditional trail along Askew Road for children (and parents) to enjoy and the library will be organising more activities.
The event takes place on Saturday 7 May from 11am-3pm.
