Wendell Park Market Takes Christmas Break
Returning to Cobbold Road on Sunday 8 January
The weekly market at Wendell Park Primary School is taking a break over Christmas but will return on Sunday 8 January.
The market takes place from 10am to 3pm at Cobbold Road, W12 9LB.
The market was launched in May 2016 by City & Country Farmers’ Markets who also organise the Alexandra Palace Farmers’ Market every Sunday in Muswell Hill and other markets around London such as Oval Farmers’ Market and Herne Hill Market.
Shoppers will find lots of local produce on offer such as meat, vegetables, fruit, bread, cheese, cakes, freshly pressed juices, pies, jams & preserves, honey, free range eggs, fish and hot food made from locally sourced ingredients.
There are handmade crafts, community stalls and more each week.
There are also discounted stalls for local residents so if, for example, you have plants you grow that would like to bring along or perhaps run your own craft business or community group in the area get in touch with C.C.F.M. They are offering free training in how to set up your own food stall. There will also be free spaces available for local community and charity stalls.
