2 murders in a week!?

So, Shepherd's Bush station between the underground exit and Westfield entrance is taped off by Police again. Police in white forensic suits again and large bits of debris everywhere, including flattened cardboard boxes over what appears to be blood. Anyone know more? I'm only assuming it's murder as the scene is exactly like the one on Askew rd last wednesday. I live only 200 yards from the Askew rd murder, so it's terrifying to think that there's another murder in less than a week!

I don't suppose that the Westfield PR machine is that keen on headlines that read "Two Youths Stabbed Near Westfield" either. I imagine that they would prefer that the Yoof of the Bush would not exsanguinate on their main entrance.... blood stains not good for the Jimmy Choos!

From the front page it looks like a brawl rather than a murder - and no-one dead which is good.The less injured man has been arrested.In so many of these cases, it seems a toss up who ends up in hospital/morgue and who ends up in the dock/Feltham.I wonder what the ethnicity of the brawlers were - only because a very senior Met police officer told me last week that there had been eleven deaths by knifing in the Met area this year (or his part of it maybe) and all those who died had been young black men.I wonder if the Nuffield/Police Foundation forthcoming report on Youth Crime and anti-social behaviour addresses this enough.
