Summer hotspot on top of BBC car park closes on October 11

Storeys, the pop-up venue on the roof of the former BBC Television Centre's multi-storey car park which became a summer hotspot, is set to close on October 11.

Final events at the nine storey high restaurant and event space include:

Ginger Spice - September 30

Curry night hosted by food blogger Rosie Llewellyn (A Little Lusciousness) and comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli. Find out more here.

Happy Track Launch Party - October 8

Launch of Happy Track app (sends you one uplifting track a day) - guests pick favourite happy tunes to play at Storeys through the app, dance performances, happy drinks!

Storeys Closing Weekend October 9 - 11

A line-up of favourite Storeys DJs, Beer Bobbing, Human Hungry Hippos, Pimp My Shades stall, drinks specials & much much more to be announced.

Storeys offered some of the UK’s best street food traders and pop up bars, alongside early morning yoga sessions, outdoor film screenings, daytime game areas, evening DJ sets and a varied events programme.

Working with charitable organisation somewhere_to, Storeys also showcased a series of murals from young artists aged from 16-24, as well as talented London street artists. Other design features will include art installations, wall plants and reclaimed material used throughout.

When it launched in summer, Alistair Shaw, Managing Director of Television Centre, said: " We are delighted to welcome Storeys to Television Centre, featuring some of the UK’s best street food alongside fantastic views of the West London skyline."
