Monday 18 April, 7.30pm
an illustrated talk by Stephen Hine, telling the story of one of Brentford's significant but now lost riverside industries

Annual General Meeting
Monday 16 May, 7.30pm
After the business meeting, Howard Simmons will give a short talk on the little-known Battle of Brentford of 1016 and the Danish Wars of that time. They will issue Journal 24 at the meeting then post copies to those members unable to attend.

A date for your diary: Summer Outing
Saturday 23 July all day
The society are still planning the details of the forthcoming outing, but this is the date to save. Full details will be sent out with a booking form in the spring.

Brentford and Chiswick Local History Society

Meetings, usually on the third Monday of the month, take place at Chiswick Memorial Club, Bourne Place, off Dukes Avenue opposite Chiswick Library. Most include an illustrated local history talk. Doors open from 7pm
