Over 25 Great Prizes to be Won in HAFAD's Christmas Raffle

Winners to be revealed at Casa Carlo restaurant on December 19

Local charity HAFAD - Hammersmith and Fulham Action on Disability - is offering residents the chance to win over 25 great prizes in its Christmas raffle.

They include holiday vouchers, lunch at the River Café and signed memorabilia from Fulham, Chelsea and QPF FC.

All the money raised will go to support local disabled people. Tickets are on sale now until the draw on December 19 at Casa Carlo Restaurant in Fulham.

One of the ways that Hammersmith & Fulham Action on Disability (HAFAD) has supported young disabled people to work towards future employment is through learning relevant work skills, volunteering, and creating work placements in the borough. Every ten tickets sold will pay for one hour of work skills training.

Kamran Mallick, HAFAD Director says: “Local fundraising is a vital part of our income generation. All the money raised is spent on ensuring that local disabled people have access to the same opportunities as non-disabled people to flourish and contribute to our community."

Robin Mohan of Casa Carlo says: "‘As a local restaurant and community member, it’s great to support such a worthy cause. HAFAD are very visible in the borough and raise a lot of money, helping to maintain services for disabled people. This raffle has some exceptional prizes and I am sure it is going to be fantastic night."

Events Fundraiser, James Coke adds: " We are grateful to all the local business that have contributed generous prizes including as local butcher HG Walter, The White Horse, Drakes Barber and Grooming salon.

"Each ticket is a chance to win a gift for yourself or a loved one just before Christmas and each pound is a gift to HAFAD."

Tickets cost £1 each and for more details and a full list of prizes visit HAFAD's website.

For tickets please contact HAFAD on 020 7471 8510 or email: james.coke@hafad.org.uk. Or visit HAFAD at Greswell Street.
