Naked Breakfast to Broadcast Live from O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire

Danny Wallace's XFM show will raise funds for charity War Child

XFM breakfast host Danny Wallace is aiming to raise thousands of pounds for London charity War Child by presenting a live Naked Breakfast show from O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on December 20 from 11am till 1pm.

The show, which the radio station hastily points out will not actually include naked people, will take place in front of an invited live audience, and feature a series of starry guests, led by STEREOPHONICS, who are signed up as Danny's house band for the day.

XFM says other big names include the following:

TIM WHEELER AND EMMY THE GREAT are coming along for a couple of very special performances

TIM MINCHIN is on board to play and chat

MILES KANE will be bringing along his acoustic guitar for some festive fun

ROSS NOBLE will be being his hilarious self throughout

SMITH AND BURROWS aka Tom Smith (Editors) and Andy Burrows (I Am Arrows / We Are Scientists / ex-Razorlight) will be bringing their festive sounds to Shepherd's Bush as well

PAUL WELLER is the latest addition to this amazing line-up.

PLUS, more big names still to be announced...

Danny is hoping hundreds of fans will take on the Nake Breakfast challenge and raise as much money as possible through a special Virgin Money Giving page.

It's all in aid of War Child, which provides life-changing support to the most vulnerable children whose families, communities and schools have been torn apart by war in countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.

XFM in London is on 104.9 FM, on digital radio, Sky Channel 113, Virgin Media Channel and online.
