Saturday 5 April at 11:00 am: Walking tour of Shepherd’s Bush Market. On a gentle stroll around the stalls, you'll discover the history and stories behind this colourful area. Organised by LBHF and led by a local Blue Badge guide.

Meeting point: Hammersmith & City line station.

On The Way to Beijing

Olympic Torch reaches the edges of W12

Sunday 6 April: On its way from Athens to Beijing, the Olympic flame will be carried through parts of West London. A mini-carnival will be held at Ladbroke Grove at 11.00 am while in Notting Hill Gate, a Latino carnival band will entertain the crowds at 11.30.

Swim for Charity

Get fit while raising money for a good cause

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 April at the Phoenix Fitness Centre & Janet Adegoke Swimming Pool.

Take part in Swimathon 2008 and raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Open to swimmers of all ages and abilities.
