Here's what's on offer every week:

Reading groups

There are several reading groups across the borough and libraries are expanding their provision. Admission is free. Please contact the individual library for further details. Groups are facilitated by library staff and meet monthly as follows:

Askew Road Library, first Tuesday of the month, 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Fulham Library, first Thursday of the month, 6pm - 7pm
Hammersmith Library, second and last econd and last Wednesday of the month, 6pm - 7pm plus second Saturday of the month, 10.30am - 11.30am

Crochet and knitting clubs

Askew Road Library, Thursday 2pm - 3m. All welcome, just bring your own needles and wool.
Shepherd's Bush Library Thursday , welcome regardless of knitting and crochet ability. Just bring your own needles and yarn
Hammersmith Library Friday 2pm- 3.45pm Knitting club

ESOL conversation groups

Would you like to improve and practise your English? If English is not your mother tongue and you want to have fun and meet people from all over the world while practising your spoken English, then this is the place for you.

Table Top sale

Come and pick up a bargain, refreshments are also available at this popular community event. Contact the library to confirm the date as it may vary.

Creative writing group

Hammersmith Library Once a month, 6pm - 7.30pm. Dates of next meetings: Tuesday 6 February and Tuesday 6 March 2018. Everyone is welcome and no creative writing experience is required; beginners are particularly welcome. To book your free place, email: david.harland@lbhf.gov.uk or just turn up.

Poetry enjoyment group

The group meets once a month for people to bring a favourite poem or two to read. It is not a creative writing group; all poems must be by published poets. All are welcome to attend the group and enjoy the poetry, however the opportunity to read aloud is limited to ‘group members’ and the group is currently full; attendees are welcome to join the membership waiting list. The group is led by professional poetry performer Lance Pierson.
