Expect a Longer Wait for a 94 Bus from Saturday

TfL says it is reducing frequency to match lower demand for service

The 94 bus service which serves Shepherd's Bush and Hammersmith will be reduced in frequency as part of changes made to several bus routes by Transport for London.

TfL says the change will be implemented from this Saturday, 14 April.

Monday to Friday peak hours buses will run every six minutes (previously every four to five minutes), with two additional journeys towards Piccadilly Circus in morning peak hours.

Monday to Friday off-peak hours and Saturday daytimes buses will run every seven to eight minutes (previously every five to six minutes) while Sunday daytimes and all evening buses will run every ten minutes (previously every eight minutes)

The 94  bus route, which stops in Shepherd's Bush Green, Goldhawk Road and Askew Road on its way between Acton Green and Piccadilly Circus has already had its night time service frequency reduced over the past three years. TfL has said this is because of a lower demand for the service at weekends, due to the success of the Central and Piccadilly line Night Tubes.

TfL says these new changes have been made to match a lower demand for the service.
