Shepherd's Bush Green Makeover

Detailed plans of the new-look Green go on display

The West 12 Shopping Centre will host an exhibition showing how plans to improve Shepherd’s Bush Green have evolved since the first public consultation was held there at the beginning of the year.

Work on the new-look Green is expected to start in March 2009 and includes the creation of an open air plaza at the eastern end, a café with outdoor seating and new play areas for children of all ages.

The new designs will show in detail the layout for the whole of the Green and show for example, what the play areas will look like, and what type of benches and lighting will be used and where they will be placed.

Questionnaires will be available at the exhibition to allow residents to give feedback or can be filled in online at

www.lbhf.gov. You can also view the proposals on the council's website from Thursday 12 June.
