Give Blood Locally

National blood service comes to Shepherd's Bush

Every day new medical treatments are being developed and more operations are being carried out. So, not surprisingly, blood donations are constantly needed.

What to expect: When you turn up, you’ll be asked a few questions about your health and lifestyle, just to make sure you haven't been exposed to anything infectious.  A drop of blood will be taken from your finger to make sure you're not anaemic. Then, your blood donation of just under a pint will be taken. This should take about 10 minutes.

Most people don't feel a thing, apart from a sense of well-being that they've helped save a life.
