Community celebrates launch of new climbing frame

Cathnor Park Area Action Group has teamed up with Hammersmith and Fulham Council's Parks Department to hold a picnic in the park on Tuesday, July 20 from 3.30pm till 6pm to celebrate the launch of the splendid new climbing frame.

The party will be joined by Deputy Mayor, Cllr Crances Stainton, who will officially open the new frame at 5pm.

Visitors can have a go at face painting or den building, or get physical with the tug o' war or join in the football.

Families are invited to bring their own picnic teas and also enjoy cool drinks, ice lollies and balloons kindly supplied by the
Crown & Sceptre Pub in Melina Road and little cakes from the Lavelli bakery.
