Christopher Cole charged with attempted murder

A man from Shepherd’s Bush has appeared at Blackfriars Crown Court charged with attempted murder after allegedly pushing a stranger onto tube tracks last June.

31-year-old Christopher Cole is accused of shoving David Pietraszek onto the Jubilee line at Bond Street Station. There has been an altercation during which Cole allegedly abused other passengers in the station.

Mr Pietraszek managed to pull himself back onto the platform just before a train arrived. He was then taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

Cole was remanded in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on July 8 prior to his appearance in Court this month.
