A 26-year-old man from Shepherd’s Bush has been jailed for 13 years after he was found guilty of human trafficking offences and drug dealing.
Kyrone Williams of St Stephen’s Avenue, W12, was originally detained in connection with an investigation by officers from the Central East Command Unit's Exploitation Team.
Williams worked for an agency called Team Up, and through them was involved with Netpex, which supports young people leaving care for local authorities in London.
He trafficked two boys aged 14 and 15 from London to Brighton, who he was supposed to be helping avoid a life of crime, to sell cocaine and heroin on the south coast between January and March last year.
Phone evidence showed that Williams had visited Brighton six times in five weeks despite not knowing anybody in the area.
He was sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court on Friday 13 August after being convicted at the same court in June.
