Teenager Stabbed in Residential Road Near Green


Air ambulance lands but victim's wounds not life-threatening

An 18-year-old male was stabbed in a residential street close to Shepherd’s Bush Green this Easter Monday evening (10 April).

He was found injured on Sterne Street and treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service paramedics before being transferred to hospital. An air ambulance landed on the Green to assist but was not required.

The victim was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed to be non-life-threatening.

A spokesperson for the Met said, "Police were called at 6.25pm on Monday, 10 April, to reports of a stabbing in Sterne Street, Shepherd's Bush. Officers were on scene within four minutes along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

"An 18-year-old man was found with a stab injury and taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening. An investigation is under way and enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made."

A London Ambulance Service Spokesperson added, ““We sent a number of resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a medic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a patient at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
