Two live shows on ITV had to be pulled this Thursday (10 March) after suspicious package was found near Television Centre requiring the building to be evacuated.
The live broadcast of This Morning was ended during an ad break as Philip Schofield and the crew were asked to leave the building. The incident meant that the scheduled episode of Loose Women could not be filmed and a previous show was broadcast in its place.
The This Morning team posted on Instagram that they had moved to a local pub.
Normal programming resumed with the news in the afternoon which is filmed from a different building.
The police say they were called to Wood Lane after receiving a call at 11.14am and White City and Wood Lane stations were closed. The police declared the incident over at 12:49 pm and say that an investigation is ongoing.
