Details of the nearest venues to W12
A new exhibition on the Crossrail railway project will be visiting 19 venues along the Crossrail route in the next few weeks.
The largest addition to the public transport network in London for 50 years Crossrail is a brand new railway that will run from Maidenhead and Heathrow in the west, under central London to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east.
New stations, able to accommodate ten carriage trains, will be built at Paddington, Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Farringdon, Liverpool Street, Whitechapel, Isle of Dogs and Woolwich.
However, Hammersmith and Fulham Council say they are lobbying for a Crossrail station to be built in the Wormwood Scrubs area.
At the new exhibition, Crossrail staff and experts will be on hand to answer questions at each event.
The Crossrail exhibition will showcase some of the benefits of the new railway as well as explain how it will be built and how people will be able to get future updates on the project.
Unless otherwise stated, centres are open from 12.00 to 20.00 on weekdays, and 10.00 to 17.00 on Saturdays

Preparatory works for Crossrail will start in 2009 with the main construction beginning in 2010. Crossrail is scheduled to open for service in 2017.
