Residents are invited to resubmit their comments
A revised version of plans to redevelop the site of Allied Carpets on the corner of Goldhawk Road and Greenside Road is currently being considered.
Any residents wishing to comment are invited to resubmit their views, citing the new planning application reference number.
The current scheme (application no. 2008/02837/FUL), submitted by Network Housing, is very similar to the one (application no. 2008/02720/FUL) which was withdrawn on June 25 2008.
It is 6 storeys over Goldhawk Road, with retail at ground floor level and residential on the other 5 storeys, and 4 storeys in Greenside Road.
There will be underground parking for 40 cars and the car park entrance will be in Greenside Road.
"The present scheme is a great improvement on all Network Housing's previous schemes but we still have reservations concerning the access to the underground car park in Greenside Road and the shared loading/pedestrian surface on Goldhawk Road and the loading requirement for the biomass boilers," says Annabel Clarke of the Cathnor Park Area Action Group.
Any residents wishing to comment on the current application will need to resubmit their letters/emails ASAP to plancomments@lbhf.gov.uk or write to Laurence O'Keeffe, Development Management Service, LBHF Town Hall, King St, London W6 9JU quoting application ref: 2008/02837/FUL.
Allied Carpets is scheduled to go to before the LBHF planning committee on November 25 2008.
