Remembering the War Dead

Join the Poppy Day parade

A Remembrance Day parade will take place through the streets of Shepherd's Bush on Sunday 9th November, to remember all those who were killed in the two World Wars and other conflicts around the world.

Deputy Mayor, Cllr Alex Karmel, will join the march from Sulgrave Road to an open air service at the war memorial at Shepherd's Bush Green.

The parade will begin in Sulgrave Road at 10.15am and then go via Shepherd’s Bush Road, Shepherd’s Bush Green (south to north) and Uxbridge Road to the War Memorial at the eastern end of the Green.

The open air service will be led by the Rev Canon David Tann and Rabbi Geoffrey Shisler.

After the service, there will be a march-past in Shepherd's Bush Road at which Cllr Karmel will take the salute.

The parade will end in Warwick Gardens.
