Date set for November 26th
The Hammersmith and Fulham Coalition Against Community Care Cuts (HAFCAC) will meet Hammersmith and Fulham Council in court on Wednesday 26th November 2008 at 9.30am.
Anyone wishing to attend should meet at the main entrance to the Royal Courts of Justice in The Strand in central London.
There is limited access to the court.
HAFCAC, which represents the borough’s elderly and disabled residents, has launched a legal challenge against the Council following H&F’s decision last June to start charging for home care services.
They accuse the Council of penalising those who need help to carry out basic daily tasks and of breaking a pre-election promise not to introduce fees for home care.
