QPR coaches use sport to teach children about road safety
Roadwise Rangers is a road safety project which aims to raise awareness among young people of the dangers of traffic by running day-long sessions during school holidays.
Participants receive sports training from Queens Park Rangers Football Club coaches. In the process, they learn that the skills essential in sports are also essential in road safety. Activities include showing the importance of looking and listening in sport and in road safety.
The next session takes place on Wednesday 18th February 2009 and is for 9-13-year-olds.
