Ensure you are registered to vote by January 23
Following the sad death of Councillor Jean Campbell in November, a by-election has been called for the Wormholt and White City ward in the north of the borough.
The polling day for the by-election to fill the vacant seat on the council is on Thursday February 7, 2013. The candidates standing for election are:
The register of electors and postal voting list for this by-election closes on Wednesday January 23, and residents wanting to check if they are registered or to get a voter registration form must contact Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s electoral services team before this date.
They can also vote by post, but a completed application must reach the electoral services team in Hammersmith Town Hall by 5pm on Wednesday January 23.

Returning officer Jane West said: “I would encourage all eligible residents living in Wormholt and White City to register and vote in this by-election. It is a chance for people to have their say about who represents them on important topics and issues that impact on their lives and the community.”

Poll cards will be delivered between February 1 and 3. Poll cards are for information only and residents do not need their card to vote, as long as they are registered.
