Demolishes computer repair shop near Savoy Circus

A number 70 bus has veered off the road and into a parade of shops on Old Oak Road near Savoy Circus this Wednesday afternoon (25 March).

The incident took place opposite the new development currently under construction next to the A40 and the bus appears to have been driven into a computer repair shop.

Footage showing the immediate aftermath of the crash was posted on Facebook.

The person who made the film which appears to be from a dash-cam can be heard saying, “It happened right in front of me. Bus just went straight through a window. Oh my God!”

At this stage there are no indications as to whether anyone was injured in the collision.

We have asked the emergency services and Transport for London for comment.
