Female Pedestrian Killed On Shepherd’s Bush Road


Victim, who was in her seventies, hit by lorry

A female pedestrian, believed to be in her seventies, has died after being hit by a lorry on Shepherd’s Bush Road.

The collision took place shortly before 11.54am on Wednesday, 4 November.

An air ambulance landed on Brook Green to provide assistance.

The victim was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries and pronounced dead at 2.32pm.

Her next of kin are aware and are being supported by specialist police officers.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and was not arrested.

The resulting road closure led to substantial traffic delays across west London.

Officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage of the incident.
